Bullring Points

Bandolero Cars  As of September 15 (UNOFFICIAL)

FINAL POINT STANDINGS (official)

Congratulations to Andrew Murphy who won the Bullring track championship for the Bandoleros. The team of Andrew and brother Austin have been very strong all season, and their dedicated parents have rallied behind them 100 percent. The duo travelled each race to the Desert from Lancaster, and also drove up to Carson City and Atlanta for National events. Eric Chelberg is clutching on after a strong start and tons of bad luck in the latter part of the season which allowed Tom Lovelady top catch up. Kevin Terrell also posted strong finishes in the latter part of the season.

Josh Gross got his first wins this season, and Bear Rzesnowiecky ran very strong but had inconsistent starts. Kyle was the only true rookie, and missed only one start, but finished in the back almost every race. But his consistence paid off, and he may walk of with the National title for Nevada.

The national points race for the Bandits are almost wrapped up. Some tracks have till the 28th of September to schedule races. As for the Nevada Bunch it is over. Of the Bullring drivers Austin Murphy is leading, however these are for National and state points and he is registered as a california driver. So he will win the California State championship in the Bandits. This opens up Kyle Huender who is next for the Nevada Championship (this depending on the final tally of the 20 best finishes for the racing season) Currently Kyle does capture the rookie Title for Nevada. Josh Gross passed Steve "Bear" Rzesnowiecky as he failed to race in the two races that would qualify him for INEX points last weekend.

In the Young Guns The battle between Andrrew Murphy and Tom Lovelady was very close. Andrew with one more race than Tom leads him by 20 points. Each will pick up state honors.
